If a picture is worth a thousand words, and videos are made of thousands of pictures, should a video worth a billion words?

Okay, I'll bite. I've started playing around with 3D again. Back to working on a new Star Fox type clone.

Really, it's not so much a Star Fox engine as a general 3D engine. The obvious problems being that there's no support for actual 3D type stuff like clipping and texture mapping and there's no easy way to get reliable z-sorting as sometimes triangles will still pop forward when they're not supposed to. But I plan on working around those limitations. Also I haven't implemented lighting (And might not really) or rotation of anything yet.

Who knows. Everyone remembers my last Star Fox thread. This time I've rewritten it from the ground up. Sorry about the low FPS, it usually runs faster.

I'll create a thread if anything good comes of it. Hopefully I won't get distracted again. Or frustrated.

So please don't, as it looks promising.

Teaser for a firefighting game we're working on.
Not much firefighting yet, but you can commit suicide if that's your thing.
