Re: love-android
Perhaps you are relying on something that is technically undefined, as LÖVE currently is.
Re: love-android
But it's working great with the original Lua implementation ;-)slime wrote:Perhaps you are relying on something that is technically undefined, as LÖVE currently is.

Re: love-android
That's awesome! But what about devices without a keyboard?
Re: love-android
Currently we map touch event to mouse events and dpad to up,down,...
Using keyboard events in games will not work very well on most of the phones.
Therefore one needs to adjust/adapt the input methods for the touch device manually in the game code.
We thought about extending the api with some touch events but that was just an idea.
But first we need to get the normal love api to work.

Re: love-android
seems i found a bug in luaj, deleting table entries during pairs-iteration causes "invalid key to 'next'" error in luaj, but not in native lua,
there was already a bugtracker entry with a good description for that, just one week old :
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=de ... tid=962226
help with that would be greatly appreciated =)

Re: love-android
fantastic work--this is some exciting stuff.
Re: love-android
Cool, LOVE2D engine is quite simpler to use compared to PGE and lua player, and i'd like to port my games to Androis, iOS, and psp. Nice! looking forward to the finished work
Re: love-android
I have a Galaxy S2, which is among the few highest-end devices you can get right now, it's also rooted - so if you need someone to test anything, you can add my device to your list.
I am, however, running android 2.7, so I'm not sure of the compatibility.

Haha what? Is that some special CM version? Because that isn't any Android version I've heard of.Ryne wrote:android 2.7, so I'm not sure of the compatibility.
