I don't have retro 3D spaceships, but I do have animation and map rendering.

Just using Metroid stuff as placeholder, it can be scaled to fit any size sprites and/or tilemaps.
Do you recognise when the world won't stop for you? Or when the days don't care what you've got to do? When the weight's too tough to lift up, what do you? Don't let them choose for you, that's on you.

I'm currently jumping from a project to another, without completing anything. I hate doing this, but I can't stay focused on a project without getting too bored or frustrated. Any suggestions?

Nice to hear that. :)
Atm we've got the basic menu's , the level selection and some test gameplay without finished graphics.
We're still working on basic stuff like enemys, game saving and level design.
There are plans to work on wearable armour, different gamemode's, items and some kind of weapons as well.

@Nixola:

I know that problem.
Most times it's good to start with a large concept were everything you will see in your project is listed.
Try to sketch your ideas, plan things. And may it could help to find someone who is interested in similar projects.
If you know WHAT you want, and HOW you want to do things it's easier to focus on the project.
