I just want to say, that this is very interesting, even with limited functionality. This is the way to go and i hope this gets more love from the developers.

It takes a lot of work but it is certainly possible.
Love2D is an open source project so it is entirely up to you.
For example, you can add the project to the wiki and star/share the Github repository.
