The love.physics changes aren't that bad if you're fine with looking at the source

The Box2D manual helps too, even though its example code is in C++. There's also this thread which has some working code and notable differences.

Ohsome! At last...
One thing that the demos.zip is also the same demos like 0.6x,0.7x ,
maybe some newbie haven't dig the forum deeply can't find more different fun with new LÖVE0.8.0.
I like "Zipperippers Showcase" , there some demos port to 0.8.0
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1197&start=50

How about add more simple but awesome demos into the offical demo-zip?

Nice :D :D :D

I also figured out why my fps limiter suddenly stopped my game:

Updated love.timer.sleep to use seconds, like the rest of love.

Normally i multiplied the sleep function by 1000 to get seconds instead of microseconds :)

Keep up the good work, I Löve it !

I remember the huge change between 0.5.0 and 0.6.0 and having to convert my at the time fairly large Adventure Engine and kept putting it off because I didn't feel like putting up with the headache until one day I decided to just jump head first into it. In the end it was worth it and that was a pretty long run-on sentence I just typed.

Edit: Oh, hey. Does this version have LuaJIT stock or is there another version I can download? (For OS X please!)
