I was adequately impressed with the default wallpaper that came on my computer, so I kept it around. I keep my desktop very clean. You'll also notice the really weird resolution (2960 x 1050). I'm running dual monitors, one of which is a 22" 16:9 the other is a 17" 4:3. I typically keep a browser up in the 17" and whatever I am actively working on up on the 22" (code, games, whatever).

It took some getting used to, but the size/shape of my desk won't accommodate much else (although I am thinking of getting another widescreen and aligning it vertically on the left - for reading through long bits of code/documentation).

Yeah, it's Windows 7 - I love it, on all the computers in the house except for my daughter's laptop (Ubuntu Netbook Remix).

And you think I don't know this? The only linux I know of that isn't free is SuSE. Which also has a free version.

The Lua Humble Collider is a sound processor that is programmable with Lua. But it's not nearly finished yet...
Seriously? T_T

walesmd's post reminded me that I had forgotten about the obligatory shot of the physical desktop.

You'll have to excuse the fact that the photo looks horrible. Me and fancy cameras just don't click (pardon the pun).

The right side is mine, the left side belongs to my girlfriend. The thing in front of her monitor, that looks like a binder, is actually a semi-functional laptop.

I recognize that Ikea chair.

It's ok for short usage, but for longer periods of time you will want something a little better. Unless you have a backup-back.

That must of been expensive, unless you got pirated versions or something. :d

Neither of the chairs are very comfortable, but we're poor students, so what can you do? :3

Holy crap! That's my chair! Sitting in it right know.

But we like it, everyone in my family has one (that would be my parents and my little brother).

Nah, I was part of the beta and threw one of the Windows 7 House Parties. Free copies of 7 Ultimate 32 & 64-bit, signed by Steve Balmer. :)
