Well, I don't know much about the dev team names and didn't the french/italian versions. However could someone (devs or core members) do an "official" english well-organized wikipedia page? I could then translate it to portuguese and others could do the same for others languages. Better than have different content/versions among several languages like is becoming now.

And how long has it been since Mike and Tommy (especially Tommy) were around and actually devved something?

The last thing Tommy committed was a minor bugfix on May 5. Mike committed the nascent love.font and a few other things near the end of July 2009, and hasn't done anything LÖVE-related since.

Well, they don't all have to be filled. And references was just going to link to this site. I don't see how they could remove it from that page if it actually does exist and you actually can make games with it.

I think they mean alternate scripting interfaces for "bindings" (for example, primary programming language is C++, but there are bindings so you can write programs for it in Python/Lua/Ruby/D/Forth/Objective C/Lisp/BrainFuck/etc.)

So no bindings, and notable games -- I can only think of Fistful of Beef, as a genuinely finished, polished, fun game that's gained some traction. Or perhaps Frock, which was featured on the GitHub blog, although that's not really a game.
