Hey, thanks a lot for the kind words!
The game is past alpha, yes. It's basically finished apart from some things in the online match-making, which I might renew when I find some spare time (and the will to sit down and get back to web-coding )
I don't know of any educational uses, but some guys at a university in Berlin are using it in a "Programming Games" course... which I guess is pretty close
It would be great to see your AI online!

Re: trAInsported: Alpha testers needed
Sorry for the (slightly) necro post...
I wrote up some of the experiences I made while making trAInsported on a new blogging-platform.
Might be interesting for other developers, so check it out!
Btw, the yellloh platform is also really nice. It's made by a young group of (very positive) Australians and is really new, activly searching for new members. If anyone wants to help them out by writing a blog post - feel free to do so!

To the person who created it, I'd recommend using the --fused command line flag when running love.

Re: trAInsported: Alpha testers needed
I finally got around to updating the version which runs on the official website, and also the game downloads. The new version runs with Löve 0.9.x.
You can get the game from the official website, or track it on IndieDB:

Re: trAInsported: Alpha testers needed
Any mac users here who could test if http://germanunkol.de/dump/trAInsported-macosx-x64.zip runs?
I'm trying to release a new version, but don't have access to a Mac where I can test it.
Note that this version won't connect to the server at the moment (the server is still running version 5.0).

It works. I tried it for a bit and the only issue I found is that the game doesn't open the folder when clicking on the "Open Folder" button (in a match).Germanunkol wrote:Any mac users here who could test if http://germanunkol.de/dump/trAInsported-macosx-x64.zip runs?
Other than that, tell me if you ever need French localisation.

Great, thanks! I have no idea why it didn't open the folder. I execute "open DIRECTORY", which should work. Do you have a space in your path?
French localisation would be really great! If you ever find the time to translate, that would be awesome .
