Glad as I see from the demo that now works with my imac.
The good:
- The engine seems solid works very well. Good playability speed.
- Didn't see game heat up my computer like some other LOVE games.
The Bad:
- Personally and for my experience I can't approve the UI and the UX workflow. Too much steps to start playing, very close color monotonous options and overall very hierarchical confusing menu design, demanding and requiring a lot of attention from the user.
That's all. Good luck for the release!
Snayke - Out now! Version 1.1, soundtrack available
Re: Snayke
Phenomenal.
Works perfectly fast and beautiful on my crap computer and the menu wasn't confusing. Love the UI and design, very simplistic. I love this game.
I will buy this game.

The demo is great! The only thing that doesn't work are shaders, but this is only beacause of my old graphic card. I'm waiting for the realease on desura .

Re: Snayke
Thanks! I agree the menus aren't perfect, I'm not the best UI designer and most of the current menu design hasn't changed since Snayke was a much simpler game. They get the job done though (for the most part), and a complete overhaul is out of the question at this point, so...coffee wrote:Glad as I see from the demo that now works with my imac.

I did make sure you can hold the enter-key down as soon as the game starts and you will be in a level, though.
I have updated the demo with a few changes which make it less frustrating and hopefully more enjoyable.
Changelog:
- - updated/improved levels, tweaked ordering
- countdown on game start is 1 second instead of 3
- levels auto-restart on failure
- minor game speed tweaks
- ties are displayed properly in classic multiplayer games at round-end
- deleted unused sounds
- changed default player names
- potentially fixed cursor hiding issues
