What do we think about the audio? Is it good? Could we use more or less in any place?

Right now, the next big leap is Perfect Plant mode, which Taehl will be coding. I'm currently working on even more graphics, and hopefully the scenery will be a bit more complete come next beta.

You mean both red flowers / blue fruit and blue flowers / red fruit?

Yeah. I think some later levels may have more than one requirement at the same time. And this combination just seems like a good one to me.

Time for a new beta. Besides the usual little tweaks and fixes (including some that should make Survival better), this version features a /very/ rough form of the Perfect Plant gamemode with a single level. Get it from here.

And using a key/button is not intrusive, but it does make it difficult to judge whether you're done yet. I really thought I had 100% or something when I pressed Z.

Don't worry about trying to get a 100% match - that's improbable. You were close to winning, though - I set that level to require a 70% match (or better). Different levels can (and will) have varying strictness as one form of difficulty.

You're creative and executed your idea perfectly.

I hope you leave the name of this game "A game about growing plants"

The trick, I think, is in preparation: Your first few generations are the most important.
