The game looks great, and local multiplayer is always cool!

As for the setup screen, some suggestions:
  • Make buttons large enough to accomodate the entire text
  • Loose the very strong blue tone as a background. Using black (as in the game) might work better
  • Remove/simplify the outlines of the buttons and the player-fields. The way they are now, it looks like the borders are more important than the content.
  • Why does each player have two boxes (one with the glowing outline, and then the inner box for the buttons)? I would remove the inner box entirely.
  • Add simple, once-coloured icons for "rebind" (keyboard or controller?), the CPU/Player option (computer icon and person icon). Same goes for "Save setup" and "Play".
  • Why are there 7 players? That makes the number of players per row uneven, and you scale the player fields' width to accomodate for that. I would make the player fields all the same.
  • Karboom does a lot of these things right in its player setup screen. Maybe you can draw some insparation from there? Check out the second screenshot here.

Here's a screenshot of pOp, the party game I'm about to submit to the App Store :

Added trails behind players after seeing Jimanzium's post, it adds even more energy to the game ! Thank you.

@Germanunkol: Thanks for the advice! It already looks a lot better, I'm not sure what I was thinking with that colour scheme. Also, the the width/height of the player boxes is based on how many players there are, not sure why I used 7 in the screenshot but if it was 6 there would be 3 in each row, 5 would put 2 on top and 3 underneath.

@Ulydev: Glad I could help.

Believe it or not it took me all night last night to get this AI working right and in the end after a rewrite it was simple as pie.
