I tried to run it with LOVE 0.8.0, downloaded from http://love2d.org, and it freezes; I'm trying to run it on Windows Vista (I'll install Win7 later)

Yeah, turns out there's a bug with LOVE 0.8.0 (check out Zeliarden post on the previous page). Sorry about that, you can try compiling LOVE from source (bug is fixed there).

Could someone record a video to show me (as well as other people who don't support Shaders) how should it look like? Anyway, I'm attaching a version without them

Actually that bit of code is not being used. I was just playing with it to see how it will look like but then ended up not using it, it just changes the color over time.

Anyway, thanks for attaching a version with them! I'm on planning on adding some bloom/blur effect over movement and speed, but it's still in the works :)
