I've asked in the SDL GitHub and they confirmed it is likely my old SDL version (I'm currently on 2.0.10 because I installed both SDL and LOVE using apt). I'll probably soonish update my system to 22.04, and hopefully that will fix the issue

Yes, in the worst case, tell yourself that this problem should not happen to others if you publish this project
