Just didn't realize that the x axes should use math.log to get a linear frequency representation.

Added linearized example.
Looks more like what I had anticipated.
Probably wrong.
Lots of 'magic numbers'.
'L' to toggle between linear and log scale
'f11' toggles full screen
'esc' to return to sanity
