Thanks ill look into changing that, it is running slow im not sure if that has to do with it. Got it working finally! Simple mistake with ending for "i, enemy in ipairs(enemies) do" and having everything all kinds of mixed up.

Ive gotten a bit farther, the player can shoot at any angle based on input. And I reduced the hitbox to be extremely small, also got Player state of Red/Blue wiht there own collision down. Im almost got the enemy shooting a spray pattern, but I think im making a small mistake. x. The pattern is a circle explosion of multiple bullets straight out.
