I like I like. You guys care to put these images on the Wiki and slap them with a Creative Commons license? I recommend the Attribution license, but I'm not a lawyer, just some text on the internet, so maybe read these things through first.

I don't think anyone belives that Löve is associated with communism, anyone who has been on the forums longer than 1 week should know that this is just JJ's thing

That's the point. It is free, it's not the free engine, it's a free engine

Okay I must be more tired than I thought I was or its just me not being native speaking in English, but care to explain the difference?

I think using "the" in this case would imply it's the only one, while saying it's free wouldn't imply anything (and saying it's a free engine says there are others); not being a native English speaker myself I can't say for sure though.

"A free engine" describes a property of the engine (ie; it's freely available)

"The free engine" is more of a tagline or marketing motto. Part of the name and brand that löve uses. (Except it isn't)

Robin was just saying that "the free engine" is not an official slogan of LÖVE.

If I wanted to credit LÖVE in my intro, I'd probably put the official logo only and the URL. It has be said somewhere else in this forum, that are not interested in the engine, but in the game, so I wouldn't put too much of advertisement into the intro. I'd rather name it in the credits for those ones who are interested.

The thing is, the audience for LÖVE splash screens isn't the LÖVE community, it's the gamers. And those tend not to even know there's a LÖVE forum if you're doing it right (otherwise it means your game is really unsuccessful).

Sorry for starting this derailing but should we continue with the icons now?
