Forward thinking. Recipe and more so ingredient tables are going to be huge. Sooner or later I'm going to see the "Player" getting too much or too little money. I can apply wide spread changes (like -12.5%) to all prices everywhere within a spreadsheet. I think they call it "game balancing". Can't easily do this working with raw text based tables. Hence the possible need for a table loader --> but not right now.Why do you keep the tables in a spreadsheet? Export them to Lua once and then work with the Lua tables. If you need to keep the values in a spreadsheet for some reason you have no alternative to writing a loader. Not familiar with OO.org but usually all spreadsheet apps can export CSV and you can write a CSV -> Lua table loader in a few lines of code.
