Just an update. I've finally fixed the physical bugs in Launcher. The solution was simple: ivan's suggestion of using setBullet was the solution, however my correction code was dodgy, and it became the problem, so I finally worked out that I no longer needed correction code (thanks ivan for the suggestion!). So anyway, the project is kicking again.

By the way, if anyone's interested, the generic base code (current named X) for Launcher (and a number of my other experiments) is located here: https://github.com/BlackBulletIV/x. I've largely put it up for synchronisation purposes.
