Yeah, at first I was clicking the enemies as well, until my random clicking spree 'unlocked' playing mode :P.

:\

i assumed it was obvious the small, circular tanks were the controlled units. I can't imagine 100 boxes taking on 4 small tanks being much of a challenge. They're also black as opposed the all grey and they enlarge and become blue on mouseover

I'll say it right out: This is a good game with an original idea and solid execution.

I've seen the replay idea used in various casual games before, but I've never seen it integrated so well into a game. It takes time and insight to become good at this game, which means there is depth to this. Great stuff!

oh, I was doing it wrong. I was first hitting [space], then trying to click a unit.

Error on script/units.lua:219 (IIRC), when finishing 2nd level on medium.

EDIT: Got another one 3rd level medium script/shots.lua.. somewhere around line 20...

Bartbes: thanks for the bug report.

What happened was your unit died after the 10 seconds was completed, which can only happen if you win and a tower that fired just before 10 seconds was up manages to hit you just after 10 seconds is up. The game should still have saved the fact that you won the level, so you can continue to play.

It likely won't come up very often, but for now changing shots.lua line 107 to "u.dead = math.min(lastframe, frame)" will stop it from happening. (it records the frame that the unit dies, and it doesn't like frames that are after 10 seconds is up) I'll update the file on the first post to have this change.

To everybody else:
Thanks for the positive feedback :ultrahappy:
I guess I need to make it more obvious how to begin controlling a unit for the first level. It's hard to tell what is and isn't intuitive.

Yeah, it saved the level on the first one, but the second one actually was mid-game, so...
Anyway, it is a great game.
