Aztec Curse(A Super Crate Box like game)

Intro
I was sitting around thinking man I love wasting time on simple arcade games and don't know what game to make. So I made Super LÖVE box!
right now it's almost entirely a copy of Super Crate Box but I have plans to add in different enemies and other things like traps.
Also if anyone wants to help out with the art I'd appreciate it!

Features:
Five platforms of fun!
one gun
two enemy types
a menu

instructions
use a,d to move left and right
w is jump
space is to shoot
Collect Crates for points and dodge or kill the enemies

Planned:
guns
more levels
different mobs
traps
other game modes
lan co-op and deathmatch

It looks like this could be a neat game, but right now it seems like a very slow-paced game (excluding the fact only the slow enemies kill you) because my bullet is like half as fast as I am, and I can outrun it easily, not to mention it doesn't gain on even the slowest fast enemy making it hard to kill them. I suggest speeding the bullet up a lot, it will make it seem like a more action-packed game.

Updated the game, made bullets and both enemies faster. Also added basic graphics for everything but the boxes(Completely forgot till now).
Added other little things too.

Pretty cool. I like Super Crate Box a lot, made me want to go play it.
The main character seems pretty slow. Actually, I'd speed everything up (you, enemies and bullets). SCB is really fast paced...running away from a quick enemy is exciting, crawling away from a leisurely-paced enemy isn't.
Also this is probably a bug, you can jump in midair if you walk off of a platform without jumping.

Players should not have to reopen the application each time the game ends.
Do you recognise when the world won't stop for you? Or when the days don't care what you've got to do? When the weight's too tough to lift up, what do you? Don't let them choose for you, that's on you.

I fixed this in the newest version. You can either go back to the menu or retry now.
