Lua/Love IDE in Chrome

I came up with this brilliant idea of making an IDE specifically for Lua/Love. This way, code gets automatically synced to the cloud and you could access and work on it wherever a computer with chrome is available. Sadly, I'm highly under-qualified to embark on such a project. Thoughts?

Cloud9 could probably be modified to do this. Or at least the stuff underlying Cloud9. IIRC, it's open source.
