I got an openGL issue, but i'm on a netbook.

On my main box at home i also have an A-10!

Thanks to you too. My FPSs varies from 108 to 113. I got both Linux and Windows, and i've tested it in W7 (64 bits). And:
-AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+ (2.10 GHz);
-RAM: 3 GB;

Well, I'm glad to hear that everyone is getting acceptable FPS. I'll be implementing some optimizations soon, so that should definitely help.

I'm sure that's not a problem I can fix very easily without delving into the Love2d source code and downgrading things to previous versions of OpenGL....


I think the problem with the shadow blob overlaying the character is something like this:
When I created the radial gradient for the lantern on GIMP, I did Transparent-Black, and it appears that in the center it puts a smaller radial gradient that is white, so that it looks brightest there. But because I am using the Alpha blend mode onto a black canvas, it makes no difference if the color is white or black, it will still be a shadow.
Don't know if that made any sense or not :P


UPDATE

Added better lighting. Try out the second SotB.love file (Entitled Update 1)
