CentOS: mouse wheel stops working

Post by lujz »

Hi,

After I close a Löve game, mouse wheel/scrolling no longer works.
OS info: Linux 2.6.32-279.19.1.el6.x86_64, CentOS release 6.3 (Final).

Reassigning the mouse wheel with xmodmap -e helps.
Is there a way to fix it in the Löve engine?

Do other games which use SDL for input/windowing (most linux ports of games, probably) behave the same way?

What's your desktop environment/window manager? Maybe that's interacting badly with SDL?

Yes, on a rare occasion.

Gnome 2.
I've now noticed that it doesn't happen every time.
It appears to happen if I run just the default love binary, but not if
I run an example from the tutorial.
Could also be that Ctrl+C doesn't exit properly, whereas Alt+F4 does.
