How on earth do I get past that long hallway of spikes in the fourth or fifth level?

How on earth do I get past that long hallway of spikes in the fourth or fifth level?

Walk right on through it. Spikes, despite what the traditional platform game will tell you, do not kill you from the side.

If that doesn't work, make sure you download the Source/windows or mac versions, as slower computers mess up the Orig. Source and make it impossible to pass through the spikes. I had to fix it up post-compo, but the rules allow it.

Ah I see. The strange thing is, with those horizontal spikes in the previous room, I landed on them from the side and died.

Well that's because the points were on the side.

I admit, it's kind of ridiculous, but I saw it in another game once and thought I should use it. Gives those spikes some oomph.
