The LOVE.exe is not starting at all

So I just downloaded LOVE and everytime I go to open the executable or run a main.lua I continue to get the error telling me that Windows can't run the program and closes it. I have downloaded LOVE from both the front page and the index of /builds page with no luck. I am running Windows Vista. Am I overlooking something here? Any help would be much appreciated.

When LÖVE terminates on startup, it usually is the graphics driver that gives problems. What graphics card and driver do you have? Is it the latest driver?

Can you a bit more specific about the error message? Is it the "has stopped working" error?

Yea it is the "has stopped working" error. I am on an older laptop with up to date drivers. It is a crappy Intel graphics card but I didn't think it would be an issue.
