1. Typo in opening text says "I am Doc,

2. Perhaps make the text print a bit more quickly, or allow speedup with space? Also, if you end up adding sound, having a beepy sound effect play on each letter printed would be very neat

3. Player handles a bit slowly, and enemies could do with some more variety (e.g. strafing, aiming, etc). Enemies which do not strafe firing straight ahead without a hitbox large enough to easily hit in vertical shooters is not usually a good idea, as it isn't very exciting and often leads to frustration... unless you're playing space invaders, that is

4. Asteroids can't be hurt/destroyed. Is this intentional? Perhaps the classic "breaks into two smaller asteroids" may work here?
The core "chance" mechanic is VERY clever, I like it quite a bit! Can't wait to see the final product, great work so far
