Hey Projects and Demos people.
I've made the beginnings of a top-down tank game.
It's the first coding I've ever done, aside from learning love (and lua) by doing tiny projects
So be nice!
Seriously though, it's taking me ages and my back hurts, so I thought I'd post it here as a sort of milestone, and I can get up and do something else for a while.
Here it is!
I'm trying to make it adaptable, so like if you decide to change the resolution, or change the height of blocks, or create more terrain it won't muck everything up.
Oh, and also it uses a textured tiled map

You might want to adjust the speed of things to the fps, i cant really do anything because i move WAY to fast.

Nice looks good!
It's alway's great to see that i'm not the only person who strives for this (Mostly because i failed at it when i was a n00b, and i know how hard it makes adding features ).celynwalters wrote:I'm trying to make it adaptable, so like if you decide to change the resolution, or change the height of blocks, or create more terrain it won't muck everything up.
