LÖVE copyright notice for commercial project

Post by felix24 »

Hey guys,

I was wondering if there is certain copyright notice that must be supplied with a commercial LÖVE game. Or is showing the logo at the start of the game enough?

Cheers ^^

yeah i was intending to include that txt file anyway, and i already have a splash screen with the LÖVE logo. i was just wondering if that's appropriate or if the LÖVE devs require any other notice to be included.

thanks :ultraglee:

LÖVE doesn't require any notice/logo to be displayed or included with your game. It's licensed under the zlib/libpng license, which states:
If you use this software in a product, an acknowledgment in the product documentation would be appreciated but is not required.
