Annoyed with my platformer (a bug I couldn't quite catch) I decided to make something simple, mainly to appease myself. Anyway, since I'm always telling newcomers to make a Snake clone, I figured I might as well make one of those.

So here it is.

The code isn't anything fantastic, but it's just about finished now.

Also, slime's effort is way better, go play that!

Tested the platformer also, It looked nice. So it's bad you shelved it. About the snake the only thing bad is that speed seems constant. So it's slow and tends to be boring to play after a while. Try to increase speed as tail enlarge.

How long did you play it for? It speeds up pretty fast. In fact, whilst testing I tweaked the speed modifier lots in order to get it at a balanced level.

I guess I should had quit less than score 100-120. Game is really slow till there. So I re-tested with a little more patience. Only reaching that score notice that there is some speed up from begging. My feeling is that only about 400+ game give some real rush. Before that it's a little monotonous to get there. I guess I should congratulate you for making the step of speed increasing so smooth. :) However sorry IMHO I would prefer some speed more even that I died miserly around 700. :ehem:

Well a snake game is kinda relaxed and stuff, I balanced it with "casual gamers" in mind. I dislike that term, but it fits my explanation.
