How did you discover LÖVE?
How did you discover LÖVE?
That's the question, how did you discover this awesome 2d game engine? I discovered it by searching for "lua" in the Ubuntu Software Center

Re: How did you discover LÖVE?
That was almost two years ago. I remember I was looking for 2D game engines, via Google, different than LuaPLayers.
I found love2D, read at the wiki, registered here.
And I fell in love.
And we got married, and we're still looking forward having children.
PS: That's is going to be fun... Cause actually some people around did not discovered Löve, they created it. So the quesion would be, to them: " how did you come up making Löve ? Who got the original idea for that conspiracy ? And how did he found some others sex-partners ? "

Re: How did you discover LÖVE?
I use to lurk TIGsource forums quite a bit. My main game hobby tool during that time was GameMaker. Eventually I got tired of its limitations and someone advocating LÖVE would would pop up there every now and then so I got interested.
Re: How did you discover LÖVE?
I had been trying out various scripting frameworks since I stopped using windows. One day someone on suggested I 'google' love2d, and it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for.
Do you recognise when the world won't stop for you? Or when the days don't care what you've got to do? When the weight's too tough to lift up, what do you? Don't let them choose for you, that's on you.

Wow, I am quite a newcomer on the board, considering the fact most of the people who posted there are not still very active here...
Re: How did you discover LÖVE?
I found out about Love back in early 2008 thanks to Rude who is one of the original Love devs.

It was posted on a indie developing blog. I forget which one. Turned out to be exactly what I needed.

You think you're new? I came here last November! I found out about love shortly after I found Mari0 over at stabyourself.Roland_Yonaba wrote: Wow, I am quite a newcomer on the board, considering the fact most of the people who posted there are not still very active here...
