Warp Run

Post by AaronWizard »

Gentlemen, I present to you Warp Run.

Your goal is to reach the exit (forever). You'll need to collect keys to open all the doors and the monsters will make your life difficult.

WASD to move by default, mouse to aim and shoot.
Be sure to collect mystery boxes, which you open with Space by default.

You may download the executable (Windows, Mac, and .love file) from Bitbucket.

Pretty fun. If you add joystick aiming it would make it perfect as its kinda awkward aiming with the mouse. Game reminds me of Geometry Wars where waves of enemies just come at you. I played through the first level and didn't notice any weird bugs.

Ah rebranded... Well since last time I played seems working well without visible bugs. After I warped to second structure (that I thought would refill health) I hadn't conditions to take long more. As downsize only the "still" image of the player. Overall well done.

Yeah. I unfortunately do not have the skill, time, or patience to create actual animations of the characters. The static character images is something I've simply come to live with.

Of course, I wouldn't say no to any donated sprites.

I could try next week try do some anims of main char if permitted. You don't mention the source of it.
Ah thank you Nicola. Now I know that mystery boxes can be open.

I drew the character myself. :neko:

Sure, I'll let you take a crack at some animations.

Update: I've implemented those back and cancel buttons for the volume prompt and key prompt screens that I said I wanted earlier. Warp Run is feature complete.

Why http://www.hamptonbay-lighting.net?
...How many auto mechanics does it take to change a Light bulb?
Two, one to screw in all the bulbs he has until he finds one that fits, and the other to tell you he thinks he'll have to replace the whole system
