Mouse Game

Post by DumpOnIt »

Hey, all!

This is a game where you use the mouse cursor to navigate through mazes with (currently 8) different types of tiles to interact with. So far it's been a fun project so I'm uploading the current version and you can try it out!! Tell me things to add to it, and post levels if you want to make some! It's really short, but I hope you like it!

EDIT: I posted version 2! Now there are ten levels (previously four). Levels can be different types and sizes, new blocks, etc. Also added in some "Secrets" :)

EDIT 2: Small update-- Added scale option. It might be harder to play on lower scales. I tested it at 0.6 but it should still be playable at an even lower scale.

It's a pretty great game, and I did have fun playing, but it would be nice if you would just collide with walls instead of losing the level.

Just wanted to chime in that it was a fun little game. Cool use of "X" obstacles.

This is good..I like it. It's pretty simple and pretty fun to play. It'd be nice if you would add an actual character..which you control with the mouse. then you can just hide the mouse. Would perhaps look better. Also an option to control the character with the keyboard would be cool..Also, This is just me, But your .love would look better if you'd organize it a little..like put the images into their own folder and same with the audio..But like i said that just me..i like my .love's neat..haha.

Do you think you could add a little timer when you die just so you could see where? It could be helpful for the next time you run the level. Still great game!

Thanks for all the comments, yo! About the game: I wanted to make a simple Operation (touch the walls n get zapped!) + Maze game you could send to someone in IM when they complain they are bored. And a game that would be fun to add levels and stuff to! So in a future version I'll put a level editor.
Also I updated to version TWO :awesome:

I found a glitch in this game. If you switch focus to another tab, you can just click on the exit and you bypass all the obstacles.

Oh dear... I designed the game for a larger screen on accident, because I now have a large monitor after using a laptop for years and making stuff that fits always because my laptop is small ;) If I scale it down, it might be harder on smaller screens, but I guess that's how it's gonna have to go down.
