Hey,
I used to have Windows Vista Home Premium (Legal) and my exe just worked fine. Recently i upgraded to Windows 7 Proffesional (Legal version) and i get a white sprite when i draw a sprite like a player.
This is also the problem at my schools PC. So i dont know if this is a LOVE glitch or just the PC's fault.
Heres an exemple where i get graphical glitches (Wich worked fine in Windows Vista) I get first the loading screen then a white screen but i can hear the music and the shot.

Re: Windows 7 Graphical Glitch
Please post a .love to the forum, I'm leery of downloading exes from other sites.
Just a guess though, are the images PO2? You might be suffering from PO2_Syndrome.

But if my PC would have PO2, why did it work perfectly on Windows Vista with the same PC?

Because it's not a computer issue, but a graphics driver issue. Some graphics drivers just suck.Dallox wrote:But if my PC would have PO2, why did it work perfectly on Windows Vista with the same PC?

That usually seems to resolve the issue, so go for it.

Re: Windows 7 Graphical Glitch
I think we should create a public service Sticky that appears at least in this forum (If not all) with the title "ARE YOUR GRAPHICS JUST WHITE BOXES? READ ME FIRST!" to tell people about Po2. Though I suppose it won't matter when 0.8.0 comes out but it'd still be nice to tell people to update their graphics drivers anyway.
Re: Windows 7 Graphical Glitch
Speaking of which, is there any timeframe for 0.8's release? I asked a few months ago and got the reply that it would be less than a few months . . .
Sorry if this sounds demanding, I'm not trying to sound entitled. BTW, is there enough info on the wiki to show how to use the current 0.8 alpha?

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times . . .
