LOVE: Error 0xc0150002 on Windows XP

I just installed Windows XP in my netbook, but every time I try to run LOVE 0.7.2 I get the error:

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002). Click on OK to terminate the application.

How can I solve it?

As you may have noticed, the unstable version works for me (That's quite strange, though)... Anyway, is that problem solvable?

You'll probably have to use 0.8.0. If you have an older ATI card, an obscure crash-on-launch issue was fixed for 0.8.0.

I've got an Intel card and I never experienced that problem... I'll have to install Windows 7 (and Ubuntu) then

Oh, then it's probably the bogus VC++ 2008 runtime dependency.
Install this.
