Need help with making into .love

Okay, i heard what you have to do is with your project folder, add it to a zip/rar and rename is to (project).love

so i did that and when i click it, it just runs the love.exe thing!

please help!

Make sure you are zipping everything that lies within your game folder, and not the actual folder itself.

Also, you can't use rar. Only zip or 7z.

Okay, you have a folder (project). Go to that folder, select everything, and create a zip from those files. Rename (project).zip to (project).love, drag it to your love.exe, and you should be good to go.

To clarify: You can use the 7zip program. Just make sure the archive format is set to 'Zip,' instead of '7z' (or 'rar,' etc.).

My mistake. I could have sworn I read somewhere that packing a .love as a .7z was possible, but that .zip was recommended form compatibility.
