I realize I have started some unfinished products. This, I SWEAR, is mostly finished (the only thing I could do now is make better graphics and stuff). The objective is to hit as many notes as possible before your time runs out. Here are your controls. Btw, I should mention who you are. Your a 'lil headbanger who likes to shred. And as you play, you help him practice his playing.
x = start game
b = hit notes (i recommend to start pressing b before starting)
My highscore is 12. Beat that (without editing the code).
EDIT!: Added menus! I thought I wouldn't take this seriously, but... it's just soo.... tempting.
EDIT!!: In it to win it! I am going to be adding some more stuff, but you can look at my latest progress now. It is like at least 80% complete now, all I'm really going to do now is implement a highscore system and touch up graphics... I can't think of how this could be multiplayer...

Re: The Product of My Procrastination
I have tried it five times, then I got tired of that screen insulting me every time just as I press X. I didn't get the point of the game. Could you explain it better?
EDIT:
Ok, I got it. You press "X" and then press "b" as many times as possible. Got 13 on my second try

Re: The Product of My Procrastination
I got 91. Not really sure what this is about.

Re: LoveRock
Pretty simple and interesting game idea. You should add a way to restart once you lose. As far as i can tell the only way to restart now is to close the game and reopen.

thanks, I'll work on that.veethree wrote:Pretty simple and interesting game idea. You should add a way to restart once you lose. As far as i can tell the only way to restart now is to close the game and reopen.
EDIT: Don't wanna double-post, so here is a main.lua with an option to restart.
EDIT: Noticed the restart-bug, I'll fix that by next time I post a new version.
