Hello everyone.
I started learning Lua and LÖVE just two days ago, and I already developed a game. It has a lot do still, but you know, the mechanics are there. So I see that a programmer with a basic idea can program a game in a week with LÖVE.
I saw some people trying to write a game every week. And I decided to come up with this idea. What do you say if we make a "Game a week" challenge here on LÖVE forums? Every week we could have a theme, and everybody (who wants) could write a simple game around the theme.
What do you say?

Re: A proposal
We have LOVEJam to basically exactly what you're asking. It was set up and we did a test jam and now it seems to be abandoned, or at least nobody talk about it anymore.
If we do anything, it will probably be with LOVEJam.

Let's revive it then! It's a very good learning experience I think.
Edit: You know, some great games like World of Goo appeared from such challenges. We could do experimental things. Of course, I can do it by myself, but a little competition would do wonders.

Re: A proposal
I'd be up for another LOVEjam.
Earliest Love2D supporter who can't Love anymore. Let me disable pixel shaders if I don't use them, dammit!
