yup...been going crazy cos in some way these friggin software need a f-in codec to work with wav-documents.
as a result could anyone please, please, please tell me what mp3-converter to get that will help me convert wav renders directly from live to mp3. Someone told me that mp3 convert is suitable, however I am not certain.
to me i dont know why the engineers at ableton didn′t add the possibility to render straight to mp3...do u?

I personally use the LAME MP3 encoder.
If you are on Windows, I highly recommend LameXP.

I use Audacity, but that's because I tend to do more than just convert. If you're looking for ease of use, VLC is pretty OK.

Isn't .mp3 less reliable in Love than .ogg?

Yes, Ogg vorbis has the least issues in 0.7.2. They should be fixed in next version.Taehl wrote:Isn't .mp3 less reliable in Love than .ogg?

Do you mean realtime? Without opening a saved file.wav first? Try sox: http://sox.sourceforge.net/Feeniovemip wrote:yup...been going crazy cos in some way these friggin software need a f-in codec to work with wav-documents.
