Ok, then can you tell me your configuration ?

I tested it with: linux ubuntu 11.10, nvidia card with closed source drivers (geforce 5xx).
Nvidia and ati opengl implementations are not 100% equivalent... maybe that's it.
It would be cool to test with different configurations, in order to isolate the problem.

Thank you for testing.

I'm also sorry to polute this topic, I'm gonna make a new one.

Perhaps your intel graphics chip doesn't support non power of 2 textures - a framebuffer/canvas renders to a texture, so you might need to pad the canvas to power-of-two dimensions when you create it if the computer doesn't support it (supported = love.graphics.isSupported("npot")). Canvases aren't auto-padded like the other textures in 0.8.0.

Also, I haven't heard many great things about mesa drivers.

It probably does - I have never had any non-PO2 issues (even on games which caused such problems for others).

Well... I don't expect it as fast (and as complete) as commercial drivers, but I had no other main issues yet. OTOH I have never played with GLSL nor played any decent games on this hardware.

thank you, I will add that and post updated version on the other topic http://love2d.org/forums/viewtopic.php? ... 060#p39786
