saw it a while back, heard about it from someone on luaplayer.org's forums, wanted to do some PC lua development instead of on my little PSP, here I came.
I was exchanging emails with the developer of LuaGame and he told me about it. It was windows and linux only at the time. Then months later on idevgames was a news article saying LOVE needed someone to convert it to mac, then I came again. Made a crappy binary that only runs on my computer (and maybe other geek's) and posted it on the forums some where.
later... I wanted to go into the udevgames contest this year and I thought I might use this instead of some sdl lua interpreter I cooked up. This time I knew more about XCode and compiling.
i was headed to dim3 to check on their progress, but i had an old forum link that was not valid anymore. so it kicked me back to idevgame. i browsed the headlines briefly and it caught my eye. particularly about the mac port as appleide mentioned.
ps, thnx appleide for showing the mac mucho amore*.
Simple - search google for "2d game engine".
love is the fifth result of the first page. It's the first result that's both open source and awesome, however.
