From my first post:

I probably could use a second shader to change the background color, but that means I'd have to port all of my stuff for color changing to pixeleffect/glsl, and there's no real reason for me to do that.

GijsB, are you running the absolute newest version of LÖVE 0.8.0?

Your "Mac" link downloads the .love project. Not Löve itself. You pasted the wrong link.

Can you make the snake pieces fade out slower? I think that would look cool.

Thanks! This is the best version of Snake I have ever seen. I wish it had told me how many squares I picked up when I mistakenly turned too soon and died. Was doing so well and was getting so long. It should record more statistics. How long your snake was. How many pellets. And your name possibly. (For future submission to a hall of fame. Would be neat if Löve2d.org could host a leaderboard feature for our games that used a special library we could include in our games to submit the scores. Then let us log into the site to maintain them. Just a thought.

Also, maybe extra special items that appear temporarily and do certain things like slow time temporarily or shorten the snake for a minute or something.

Wasn't there a decent amount of talk about this about 6 months ago? The Achievement Sharing System or something?
