Hey guys, how goes it?
i'm updating this post cause the info on it is a bit outdated now. anyway...
Some background for the game:
In this puzzle/platformer you take on the role of a small energy based life form from space, known as a Plazma Being, who gets kidnapped by aliens while on his way home. They take him back to their planet and throw him into captivity. During this time a major event shakes the planet and wreaks havoc upon the alien civilisation, but giving the Plazma Being a chance to escape.
The object of the game is to make your way back to the ship which brought you to the planet, and use it to escape. You will traverse between levels using the alien's teleportation system, and use your various energy powers to proceed through each level. But it's not as easy as it sounds. The teleporters have lost some of their power, so you must also collect energy to recharge them at the end of each level.
The game will feature three zones or stages, each containg 3-4 levels. Each time the player reaches a new zone, they will unlock new energy powers. Each of these will give the player new abilities to use for puzzle solving.

Very cool game. It's nothing completely new, but it seems to have something different. It's a cool idea.
I think playing it whould be much fun. Oh and the graphics are nice too
Keep up your work !

Seems neat, esp if it offers new modes of thinking for the player. Where did you get all the graphics?
Re: Plazma Being (so far)

yeah, it's not going to be the next Braid or anything. but if i can pull off a game with some solid mechanincs, and that's a bit of fun to play, I'll be more than happyLarsii30 wrote:It's nothing completely new, but it seems to have something different

Pretty cool and probably way ahead of most demos on the forums. Good job.
I'm working on something similar myself although it's not in Love2D and is much earlier in development:

Pretty cool. Can you move to something different or are you always stuck to the ball? Because I can see a lot of fun puzzles and stuff depending on where you go with this ( for example lets say the ball floats in water, but you need to get to the bottom of a pool, so you posses a brick, but then you can't roll. or switching between a large / small ball to climb over things / fit through holes).
