I think most 2D games simply don't need threads.

That sounds like a pretty good example of useful threading, actually. Could you toss out a quick demo, the wiki is horribly under-exampled in the threading department.bartbes wrote:I've actually run love.physics in a thread.
Anyway, don't think you'll be able to make an existing game threaded easily. It's more effective if you design a multithreaded system.
