Re: What's everyone working on? (tigsource inspired)
Well, it's been a long time since I've been around here, but I've just come back to finish my old project: http://love2d.org/wiki/Lovely_Mario_Brothers It's under development again, and updates will be arriving in the future.

See, the problem with that is that a light from a fired weapon wouldn't shine anything on a planet off in the distance. Unless that planet is literally 20 feet behind the ships.

Yeah I know, there's something wrong with the way the z coordinate of the planet gets calculated in the equation. Also I'm not going for complete realism, so some light is good because it can make it look really cool.Jasoco wrote:See, the problem with that is that a light from a fired weapon wouldn't shine anything on a planet off in the distance. I have been working on a puzzle/platformer for the last month and a half or so. So far I have most of the game mechanics done, a basic looking, but functional menu system, a tutorial level and two propper levels. In the game you play as a little energy based being who can use his/her energistic abilities to manipulate objects in the world, and must possess objects to form a physical body to be able to move around.
