Having all the modules listed in alphabetical order is great and all, but how about something like:
Getting Started
Tutorials
Objects
Modules
Libraries
Snippets/Demos
Useful Links
I understand that for reference, it's useful to just have all of the modules listed down the side, but for new users it's quite daunting that once you get away from the main page, you just have a list down the side of module names.

But it isn't a reference manual, it's a wiki. Just as the Lua reference manual and the Lua-users wiki are separate.

That's where you're wrong. I guess, partially at least. Based on interpretation.kraftman wrote:But it isn't a reference manual, it's a wiki. Just as the Lua reference manual and the Lua-users wiki are separate.

I use the LÖVE wiki as a reference manual 90% of the time.kraftman wrote:TechnoCat wrote:Reference manuals are like that though.kraftman wrote:Having all the modules listed in alphabetical order is great and all

Same here; it isn't useful for much else.

Ha, I would agree with that statement, but perhaps with a different intonation.Tesselode wrote:Same here; it isn't useful for much else.

The LÖVE wiki is a reference manual because no one has written any other documentation on it.
So, get to it.

I started to, remember, and got shot down. Apparently having an article on "local" etc did not sit well with the rest of the community.thelinx wrote:The LÖVE wiki is a reference manual because no one has written any other documentation on it.

If you however, write a tutorial on Lua in LOVE that explained such things, I would welcome it.tentus wrote:I started to, remember, and got shot down.
