Hmm.. well this is a forum community with a spirit of free and open software, I had hoped that mindset applied in all things.

It was worth it to put it to a vote. A sudden surge of 'no' votes out of nowhere seems to have killed the idea, so never mind I guess.

I also thought General was an off-topic section, but maybe making a separate off-topic section would encourage people to get further off-topic, which I think would be fun. It's lame to have a forum that's only about one thing.

To me, it has always been like this: "unicorns" == "OT". That's why I posted pictures from my cat here.

*maybe*, if you really push me, I'd recommend a "LOVE announcements" one, where maybe only the devs can create new threads. That would be the place for "0.7.1 is out!" posts. It could also be the used for "we are doing this" or "I need help with the new Box2D" or things like that. Maybe the "SELOVE" and "nLOVE" posts could go there too. But still, I'm not sure that the amount of posts justifies another folder folders.
