I think off topic posts are a healthy part of any forum, but instead of having them in the general section as of recently should we create an off topic subsection?

Re: Petition for Off-Topic Section
Sounds like a good idea to me, possibly placed in the community section.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure General means "Generally Off-Topic".

Re: Petition for Off-Topic Section
General = off-topic in my mind.
IRC = super off-topic.
IRC = super off-topic.
Re: Petition for Off-Topic Section
I was under the impression that General was about general LOVE talk and not general everything.
The majority have voted in favor of a separate section, however.

Apparently you were also under the impression this is a democracy.

Sorted. It's a tie.Ensayia wrote: The majority have voted in favor of a separate section, however.
Re: Petition for Off-Topic Section
I like the simplicity of the forums as they are right now. Besides, it's a programming community, people mainly come here for help/showcase their games/discuss technical stuff. Any trivial/off-topic stuff tends to go on in IRC really.
Do you recognise when the world won't stop for you? Or when the days don't care what you've got to do? When the weight's too tough to lift up, what do you? Don't let them choose for you, that's on you.
