Well, the site's still not out yet so you have time to come up with something.

Perhaps you could gear it towards the Ubuntu Software Centre/Mac App Store sort of thing. More the USC really. A sort of 1-stop location for all your LÖVEly needs. Perhaps we could even put out own code libraries on there for download. That way, someone who needs say, a class library can just go on and search "classes", "objects" or "OOP" and find a script they can implement. 's kinda moving away from the game distribution thing but I dunno. Just throwing it out there.

Could even create a Löve application that interfaces with the server and stuff if that's technically possible? No idea. Just throwing the ideas out.

As for the name, I can only think of things like SHÄRE. Or what's that phrase... sharing is caring? Maybe it could be CÄRE. No idea if these are terrible suggestions or what? Be brutally honest, I'm just throwing ideas out :P
Do you recognise when the world won't stop for you? Or when the days don't care what you've got to do? When the weight's too tough to lift up, what do you? Don't let them choose for you, that's on you.

I take it my suggestion (LÖVE Distribution Center) has been noted and readily discarded? ;)

A while back myself and some others created this -> Love Arcade Launcher - http://code.google.com/p/love-arcade-launcher/
I can't see why you couldn't just re-purpose that code for this.

Daww.

How about the Love Hub? I try to avoid the word center, because of conflicting spellings (half my buds spell it centre, the other half spell it center). Hub is short, consistent, and descriptive.

LÖVE AppHub? Not all things are games. Most, but not all.

I dunno, I know that I'm not the only one using LÖVE to write apps that aren't strictly games. Is it worth using a nonword to describe the majority of the LÖVE content, but not all of it? I imagine that such this project will encourage the creation of more app-type LÖVE files.

Edit: Ninja'd :(

I like LÖVE Hub. It's punchy, has some nice assonance, and mirrors the LÖVE Club.

Plus, LÖVEbucket just sounds... wrong.

Sounds like a poll is required for this.

(I like LÖVE Hub, even if the domain name would look like a dating website's)
When I write def I mean function.
