I wonder how can I take control of events if I don't use love.event in my programs, as someone suggested. But I forgot, documentation is there, I should already figure out how to control events (by praying to god maybe).
Anyway, I got the answer I wanted. There is no decent documentation.
I understand this is a project based on volunteers, you all have real jobs, bills to pay etc, so there is no time for that. Just take it easy guys, no need to call it 'super easy" because it is not. Even a person with previous experience in Lua needs 2 days to do something which could have been done in 10 minutes if everything were documented well.
It is a pity actually, as Löve looks very promising (I can say it's cute too), and could be very easy to start too, as it is based on Lua (not without disadvantages though, since Lua is an interpreted language, so by definition way slower than other frameworks based on compiled languages).
Anyway, I am really tired to try to guess what every Löve function does and how. Looking for a better documented framework now. I'll be back or not. Even if I do decide to retry Löve, it doesn't look I'll get real help anyway, and I had enough of irony and offensive stance. So no need to stay in that forum. Thank you for your warm welcome. Keep calling the framework 'super easy", if you like, but it is NOT. Feel free to delete my posts too, but that won't stop someone who would try Löve to conclude the same, that there is no usable documentation (I can't even think how someone without previous experience in Lua will find it "super easy").
Enjoy.
Any decent documentation anywhere?
