Any hope for a CHM version ?

Re: Offline LÖVE documentation for download
Unlikely, as CHM is a proprietary format, and rather obscure outside of the Windows ecosystem.

man pages for linux people and chm for windows users.

Re: Offline LÖVE documentation for download
I'm against putting more work on the shoulders of the LÖVE devs that isn't related with getting love 0.7 out. The zipped html not only *is* cross platform, but it also liberates the team for making other more important tasks.
As a side note, there are tools out there that transform html into chm. I haven't tried them. Nothing transforms html into man pages automatically, so that is a no-no IMHO.

When I write def I mean function.

Thank you for this very good initiative.
People said that developers never read the doc...it's true but only if it's the doc of the microwave !

Only thing that could top this in my opinion is a pdf with proper tags and stuff. I'd attempt to do it, but to be honest I think I should be spending more time getting to grips with Löve, just as someone mentioned the devs should be focussing on their own work.
I bet I'm the only person that would like a pdf format anyway.

Do you recognise when the world won't stop for you? Or when the days don't care what you've got to do? When the weight's too tough to lift up, what do you? Don't let them choose for you, that's on you.

It'd be sweet to have a little löve cheat sheet! I'm sure it would be easy enough to export any PDF to html so that it could go up on the website as well. I fully endorse this sweet PDF idea.
